Sleepy Hollow could use a constant right about now.

Jeremy Davies (Lost, Justified) is joining season 4 of Sleepy Hollow as a recurring guest star, Fox announced Wednesday. Davies will play Malcolm Dreyfuss, whom the network describes as “an eccentric and outspoken tech mogul who became a billionaire before the age of 30…and has since been seeking other worlds to conquer.”

Dreyfuss is an arrogant genius who believes himself to be the only person capable of solving humanity’s problems, which sometimes means acting outside the law and ignoring conventional morality. He seems set for a clash with Tom Mison’s Ichabod Crane; Dreyfuss is Crane’s “dark mirror,” representing “capitalism and democracy gone awry — a perversion of the American dream that Crane and the Founding Fathers fought so hard to establish.”

Between Dreyfuss and Janina Gavankar’s skeptical Homeland Security agent, season 4 promises to kick off with plenty of conflict for Crane. At least Davies will know what to do if a Smoke Monster comes to town.
