Actress Rose McGowan has penned a sharply worded open letter criticizing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and the news media at large for “poisoning” the American public with harmful propaganda, to the point of making people physically ill.

In a lengthy statement addressed to Trump, CNN, Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, Viacom, and media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his family, McGowan accused the Republican presidential candidate, networks, and media moguls of “stressing me and most of the nation out to the point of a diagnosable sickness. WE ARE BEING POISONED. We, the public, are being sickened by an ever expanding assault on our right to live a healthy and free life. Donald & you ratings driven colluders, are holding us the public hostage and exposing us to disease. A massive DISease.”

Identifying herself as a “proud American and global citizen,” McGowan blamed Trump and the media for spreading a “terror cancer” and added, “It is NOT most of America who should be ashamed, it is YOU for propagating this propaganda.

“We, the public, need for you to look for your humanity,” she continued. “We, the public, need you to think differently and to do better. Think different. Do better. It’s that easy to be a better person and to do the right thing no matter the cost. The time is now.”

Known for her work in the TV series Charmed and movies including Jawbreaker and Grindhouse, McGowan has been an outspoken critic of Trump this election season, and last month she wrote an open letter criticizing Trump supporter and fellow actor Scott Baio.

Representatives for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment about McGowan’s remarks. Read her latest letter:
