The cast of The Lego Ninjago Movie is ready for battle. Warner Bros. announced Thursday that Neighbors 2 star Dave Franco, X-Men: Apocalypse actress Olivia Munn, and martial arts icon Jackie Chan will lend their voices to the ninja-themed Lego Movie spinoff.

Franco will play Lloyd, a.k.a. the Green Ninja, a young warrior who leads the charge to defeat the evil warlord Garmadon, who also happens to be his father. Chan will voice Wu, a wisecracking kung fu master; Munn will voice Koko, Lloyd’s mother; and Justin Theroux will voice Garmadon.

The cast — which first leaked via a licensing catalog — also includes Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, and Zach Woods as Lloyd’s crew of modern-day ninjas.

Charlie Bean (Tron: Uprising) is making his feature directing debut on the animated movie, working from a screenplay by Hilary Winston, Bob Logan, and Paul Fisher.

Inspired by a popular line of Lego building sets and minifigures, Ninjago represents the third vector of WB’s big-screen Lego franchise, which also includes the main Lego Movie series and The Lego Batman Movie.

“Our fans know and love Ninjago characters for their personalities and skills,” executive producer Jill Wilfert said in Thursday’s announcement, “so it’s only fitting that we assemble a diverse and talented cast to bring the world of Ninjago to life on the big screen.”

The Lego Ninjago Movie is scheduled to open Sept. 22, 2017.
