Jay Z and Beyoncé

For months, rumors have swirled that music’s reigning monarchs would release a collaborative album. Could it become a reality in 2016? Dixon doesn’t think so: “There’s more chance of a solo album from Jay at this point.”

Justin Timberlake

JT has had a huge summer with “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and he’s overseeing the soundtrack to the animated fall flick Trolls, where he voices Branch. Dixon thinks a new album could happen “late 2016 or early 2017.”

LCD Soundsystem

James Murphy confirmed the dance-rockers were prepping a new album after announcing their reunion this year. With LCD’s summer of playing high profile festivals wrapped up, Dixon says it’s a safe bet there will be a record this year.

Christina Aguilera

Xtina’s departure from The Voice should give her time to finish the record she’s confirmed she’s working on—and promised would be out by year’s end. Still, Dixon says, “It’s more likely to see a 2017 release.”
