SPOILERS AHEAD: If you haven’t seen the Sept. 14 season 11 finale of America’s Got Talent, and you don’t want to know the winner just yet, stop reading.

After a summer full of magical, musical, and wildly entertaining performances, America’s Got Talent crowned a winner Wednesday evening.

Grace VanderWaal, the 12-year-old singer-songwriter whom judge Simon Cowell called the “next Taylor Swift” following her very first audition back in June, took home the $1 million prize and will headline a show in Las Vegas in October.

When host Nick Cannon asked the impressive young lady if her tears were from joy, she gasped, “Yes, they are.”

VanderWaal beat out Laura Bretan, Brian Justin Crum, Jon Dorenbos, Sofie Dossi, Viktor Kee, Sal Valentinetti, The Clairvoyants, Linkin Bridge, and Tape Face, in the competition judged by Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum. Psychics The Clairvoyants and NFL magician Dorenbos came in second and third, respectively.
