Corey Feldman performs on the TODAY show

Corey Feldman, star of 1980s films like Goonies and Stand By Me, is on a mission to “entertain the world while spreading positive messages of love and beauty and equality to all” along with his band, Corey’s Angels. And the group took that mission to the TODAY show for a performance Friday morning. What ensued is something you really need to see for yourself.

Prior to the performance of “Go For It” from the band’s new album, Angelic 2 the Core, Feldman stood on stage dressed in a black, goth look, explaining, “The whole theme of the album is good versus evil, heaven versus hell, that sort of thing.”

He later added, “I know that angels have probably saved me once or twice in my life and I like helping them, as well. That’s why I created Corey’s Angels as a way to help girls who are kind of lost and needed to find their way to get their opportunities, their dreams, and make them realities.”

Viewers at home were then treated to Feldman’s unique dance moves, a costume change mid-performance, and unexpected appearance of rapper Doc Ice.
