Saturday marks Batman Day, a time to commemorate the creation of the Dark Knight and appreciate the cultural impact the character has had on the world. In addition to special events held around the country, some celebrities have joined in on the fun.

Director Zack Snyder had most beat when he revealed the first look at J.K. Simmons in the role of Commissioner Gordon from Justice League, while Warner Bros. revealed a new poster for The Lego Batman Movie.

Elsewhere, Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot and DC superfan Kevin Smith commemorated Batman Day on social media, and WB released a highlight video of big-screen Batmans, including Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Val Kilmer.

Even folks from Team Marvel saluted the DC hero. Stan “The Man” Lee saluted his Mallrats castmate and current Batman Ben Affleck, and Guardians of the Galaxy writer-director James Gunn posted some fan art of Groot and Rocket reimagined as Batman and Robin.

The official Twitter account for the famous TCL Chinese Theatre, located on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, posted a throwback image of the theater when Tim Burton’s Batman was playing in 1989.

Gotham star Cameron Monaghan wished Bats a happy birthday with a very Joker-y photo, while Joker voice actor Mark Hamill (Batman: The Killing Joke) saluted Kevin Conroy, who’s long voiced the Caped Crusader in animated series and films.
