Leah Remini is continuing to tell her Scientology story.
The former star of The King of Queens is in the midst of producing a Scientology-related series for A&E, sources tell EW. Though information on the project is sparse, Remini will retell her time in the church. The show is expected to air in 2017.
Joining Scientology at 8 years old, Remini was a public member of the church until she departed it in 2013. The 46-year-old opened up to PEOPLE about her time in the church, including her manual labor-filled year as a teen she spent at the church’s Sea Org headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.
“I’ve been given a second chance at life and so has my family,” Remini told PEOPLE. “It’s like a rebirth.”
