Reese Witherspoon’s upcoming romantic comedy has found a home with Open Road.

The Oscar-winning company acquired Home Again to begin production this fall, with an expected release in late 2017. Nancy Meyers is producing the film, with daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer stepping in as writer and director for the project.

The film will follow a single mother (Witherspoon) in Los Angeles who forms an unconventional family with three younger men. Also starring in the film are Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex), Nat Wolff (Paper Towns) and Lake Bell (No Escape).

Home Again is a funny and sparkling script that will be brought to life by the incomparable Reese Witherspoon,” stated Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Open Road Films. “Nancy Meyers has brought audiences some of their all-time favorites and has a proven track record at the box office. We are proud to be in business with this family and the entire team.”

The Legally Blonde actress was reported last month to star in the film, closing in the long awaited collaboration between Witherspoon and Meyers. The Oscar-winner was set to star in Meyers’ last film, The Intern, but had to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts.
