It's been well over a year since the release of Charli XCX's last album, and now fans can finally hear a brief preview of the 24-year-old's upcoming studio set in a new preview for Freeform's 13 Nights of Halloween holiday special.

XCX will host the programming block for the network from Oct. 19-31, and will debut her new single, "After the Afterparty," as part of the festivities. The trailer for the annual TV event features a snippet of the Lil Yachty-assisted track, which the U.K. singer-songwriter announced via Twitter on Friday.

XCX has been working with Scottish producer SOPHIE, who produced a majority of her recent Vroom Vroom EP in addition to working on tracks for several international artists like Madonna, Namie Amuro, and Le1f, on her third major album. Norwegian production duo Stargate (Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Rihanna) have also reportedly contributed tracks to the as-yet-untitled LP.

XCX previously discussed making "the best pop album of 2017" during an August interview The Fader.

"Stargate obviously come from a totally different world, but at the same time that's also their aim, you know? That xylophone on their old Ne-Yo R&B s–t, the way the handclaps were programmed? I know people are going to be like, 'She wanted to make the album with SOPHIE, and her label said, You need to put it with Stargate to make this work.' But it was never about putting SOPHIE in a pop environment and flattening him out," she said. It was knowing they could bounce really well, in a room together, working to each other's strengths."
