It’s taken 15 days, but Bob Dylan has finally accepted that he won the Nobel Prize for Literature.

“It’s hard to believe,” the legendary singer-songwriter told The Telegraph in his first interview since the Oct. 13 announcement, calling the honor “amazing, incredible. Whoever dreams about something like that?”

Regardless, making it to the Dec. 10 ceremony is on the 75-year-old’s mind: “Absolutely,” he said when asked if he would attend. “If it’s at all possible.” The Academy indicated it was unsure whether Dylan would appear at the Stockholm fete.
