A month after releasing their viral video encouraging Americans to “vote, honey,” the stars of Will & Grace have returned with an election encore.
During a recent Hillary Clinton fundraiser in Los Angeles, former costars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes reunited to perform a musical number praising the Democratic presidential nominee and skewering Donald Trump.
A parody of “Officer Krupke” from West Side Story, with new lyrics by vlogger Randy Rainbow, the song features such pro-Clinton lyrics as “Our country’s kind of crazy, but still you give us faith / That’s why we’re with you November 8th!”
Of Trump, the four sing, “We don’t know how he got here, can’t wait till he is gone / Hope he doesn’t sue us for this song!”
The Will & Grace gang’s performance comes on the heels of reports that NBC is in very early talks for a potential revival of the Must See TV comedy, which aired from 1998 to 2006.
