Brie Larson is making a little room for some heavy-hitting costars on her feature directorial debut, Unicorn Store.

Oscar nominees Samuel L. Jackson and Joan Cusack have joined the project’s growing cast alongside Other People and Transparent actor Bradley Whitford. The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Unicorn Store marks the second collaboration between Larson and Jackson, who star in Warner Bros. upcoming Kong: Skull Island, due in theaters nationwide on March 10.

Larson, an Academy Award winner for her performance in Lenny Abrahamson’s Room, will play the lead role in the film, which is based on an original screenplay by Samantha McIntyre. Unicorn Store follows a young woman who moves back in with her parents; shortly after, she receives an invitation to visit a peculiar store that “will test her ideas of what it really means to grow up,” according to a press release.

The 27-year-old is also producing the film, which is being fully financed by Hercules Film Fund, with Rhea Films (Robert Pattinson’s Good Time, Tom Cruise’s American Made) overseeing production. Lynette Howell Taylor, Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis, Terry Dougas, and David Bernad & Ruben Fleischer of The District will produce alongside Larson.

A release date for Unicorn Store has yet to be announced.
