Bruno Mars is no magician, but he sure did bring some magic to the 2016 American Music Awards with his performance of “24K Magic,” the lead single on his latest album by the same name.

Rocking old school matching track suits, Mars and his backup singers opened the show with an explosive performance — fireworks went off on stage — and synchronized choreography with an extended dance break.

Mars was just one of a dozen other performers at this year’s AMAs, which featured spots from Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, The Weeknd, Sting, and more. For a full list of winners, see our full breakdown here.

Mars recently announced a world tour to accompany the release of 24K Magic, which dropped on Friday via Atlantic Records. The 24K Magic World Tour kicks off in March 2017 in Belgium and finishes up in November at the Forum in Los Angeles.
