Hold the door for Kristian Nairn and his turntables. The Irish actor known for playing Hodor on Game of Thrones is set to DJ the 22nd annual Critics Choice Awards, EW can exclusively reveal.

Nairn, who emerged as the unexpected hero of a heartbreaking episode in season 6 of GoT, is also a veteran DJ and electronic music producer with a touring show dubbed Rave of Thrones.

He’ll man the decks for the Dec. 11 awards ceremony, which honors the best in film and television, and its after-party.

Speaking of Game of Thrones, HBO’s sprawling fantasy is nominated for several honors, including Best Drama Series and the fan-voted Most Bingeworthy prize.

Hosted by T.J. Miller and presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, the Critics’ Choice Awards will air live Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. EW is a content and promotional partner.
