It’s official: The ragtag heroes of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise are getting their own Telltale Games episodic series.

The video game maker announced Thursday at the Game Awards that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will comprise a five-part adventure, with the first installment debuting digitally on consoles, PCs, and mobile devices in 2017. A retail version will also be offered.

Players will take on multiple roles throughout the game, and an announcement teaser indicated it will channel the irreverent rock ‘n’ roll vibe of James Gunn’s 2014 blockbuster.

Telltale co-founder and CEO Kevin Bruner said in a statement, “The energizing blend of humor, emotion, teamwork, and full-on sci-fi action-adventure of the Guardians provides an enormously satisfying space to explore through Telltale’s unique style of interactive storytelling.”

Telltale’s previous offerings include games based on Batman, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Minecraft.
