Warner Bros. is hungry for another helping of Little Shop of Horrors, and Greg Berlanti will aim to satisfy the craving.

EW has confirmed the studio is developing a new movie musical based on the campy tale of a nerdy florist and his man-eating plant, with Berlanti attached to direct.

Best known as the uber-producer behind such DC Comics-inspired TV shows as Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, Berlanti previously helmed the 2010 romantic comedy Life as We Know It.

His take on Little Shop of Horrors would be the third to grace the silver screen, following Frank Oz’s 1986 musical horror-comedy (based on Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s stage version) and Roger Corman’s original 1960 low-budget farce.

Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying) is writing the script for the new film, and Marc Platt (La La Land) is producing.

Deadline first reported the news.
