The current residents were able to evacuate unharmed.

Beyoncé's childhood home, featured in her Renaissance concert film, caught fire early Christmas morning.

The Houston Fire Department responded to a call on Monday around 2 a.m. local time of a fire at the residence on Rosedale Street in the city's Third Ward and arrived to find flames coming from the second story of the house, department spokesperson Sedrick Robinett tells EW.

Firefighters were able to fully extinguish the fire by 2:48 a.m.

The home's current occupants are a couple and their two small children, according to FOX 26 Houston. The residents evacuated the house before first responders arrived and there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters, officials tell EW.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.

In Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, the singer visits Houston during a stop on her world tour and she drives by her old house, which also featured in her early home videos. Beyoncé is currently in Brazil, where she surprised fans at the premiere of her film.
