Jeremy Allen White agrees to daily sobriety testing in custody filings

The Bear star will use a device called Soberlink.

Jeremy Allen White has reached a custody agreement — and it requires him to maintain his sobriety.

The Bear star shares two daughters, Ezer Billie, 4, and Dolores Wild, 2, with his estranged wife Addison Timlin, and according to documents obtained by EW, he must now conduct near-daily sobriety tests to ensure that he is sober during his visitation periods with his children.

White, 32, will use a test device called Soberlink, which defines itself as a "professional-grade breathalyzer system with facial recognition that automatically sends results in real-time to designated individuals." The actor must test twice a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as three times daily on the Saturdays he has custodial time. On Sundays, he is only mandated to test once.

EW has reached out to White's representatives for comment.

The agreement also notes that White will attend individual therapy at least once a week and at least two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week.

Timlin and White were married in October 2019 and she filed for divorce in May. The pair have been separated since her filing. Timlin is best known for her stint on season 4 of Californication.

White's career has been on the upswing of late. After wrapping up his eleven-season run on Shameless, he nabbed a lead role as chef Carmy on The Bear, which earned him a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Musical or Comedy, as well as an Emmy nomination. He'll be seen later this year in Fingernails and Iron Claw, two films earning early buzz.
