Silicon Valley uploaded itself to Comic-Con on Thursday, marking the first time in its three-season history that the HBO comedy boasted a presence at San Diego’s hugenormous pop culture fan fest.

During the panel — which included a Q&A with stars Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Woods, and Amanda Crew, along with executive producers Mike Judge and Alec Berg — a season 3 highlight reel was unveiled, revisiting assorted scenes with flurries of outtakes that feature alternative jokes.

Want to see how many different ways that Erlich (T.J. Miller) can bond with the guy working on the shrubbery in Pied Piper HQ, Richard (Middleditch) can destroy his budding relationship with the spaces-versus-tabs woman, Jared (Woods) can awkwardly praise Monica (Crew) for her loyalty, and Dinesh (Nanjiani) and Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) can derisively compare Richard to a chair? O Captain, my Captain, you most certainly do.

Also at the panel, Judge was surprised with an Ink Pot Award, Comic-Con’s lifetime achievement award. Judge — who was late to the panel due to traffic — accepted humbly. “Wow. Jesus, I am glad I made it!”

Judge and Berg also revealed they are currently writing season 4 of the comedy series, which will very possibly include more Jian Yang (Jimmy O. Yang) — “Yes, we are working on that,” they assured — and they’re discussing ramping up Nelson “Big Head” Bighetti (Josh Brener) and having Monica join the company.

Discussing iconic moments from season 3, though, Nanjiani pointed to one specific event as what is arguably the most memorable of the series — the horse-sex scene — about which they joked in graphic, NSFW detail.

Silicon Valley earned its third Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy nomination earlier this month, as well as a first in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy category for Middleditch.
