In September 1997, viewers first met a teenage witch named Sabrina. Starring Melissa Joan Hart, Caroline Rhea, Beth Broderick, Nate Richert, and more, Sabrina the Teenage Witch ran for four seasons on ABC and three more seasons on the WB, picking up two Emmy nominations during its run. With its cast reuniting for '90s Con in 2023 and episodes being streamed on Hulu, the fantasy sitcom's legacy lives on, decades later.

Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina Spellman)

After spending three years on Clarissa Explains It All, Melissa Joan Hart assumed the title role on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, playing the high school student with otherworldly abilities.

After wrapping her run as Sabrina Spellman in 2003, the Drive Me Crazy (1999) star has gone on to earn credits for Nine Dead (2009), Robot Chicken, and The Casagrandes; starred opposite Joey Lawrence on Melissa & Joey; played lead roles in a slew of Christmas movies for Lifetime; won $1 million for charity on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune; and directed episodes of The Goldbergs, Young Sheldon, and Paramount+'s iCarly revival series. In March 2023, Hart competed as Lamp on The Masked Singer.

Nick Bakay (Salem)

Nick Bakay joined Sabrina the Teenage Witch as the voice of Salem the cat.

The actor, who previously appeared in episodes of In Living Color and Coach, has earned additional voice credits for The Angry Beavers and The Simpsons. He later popped up on The King of Queens and 'Til Death, as well as in the 2011 film Zookeeper. From 2013 to 2021, Bakay served as an executive producer, writer, and director of the CBS sitcom Mom. He also executive produced episodes of Young Sheldon and The Kominsky Method.

Caroline Rhea (Hilda Spellman)

Caroline Rhea found her spot on Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Sabrina's aunt, the witch Hilda Spellman.

Since hanging up her spellbook, the Biggest Loser alum has appeared in Christmas With the Kranks (2004), The Perfect Man (2005), and Love N' Dancing (2009), and lent her voice to more than 100 episodes of Phineas and Ferb. Rhea reprised her Sabrina the Teenage Witch role as Hilda in two episodes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in 2020, and appeared in episodes of Sydney to the Max and Lopez vs. Lopez.

Beth Broderick (Zelda Spellman)

After earning credits for The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Hearts Afire, and The 5 Mrs. Buchanans, Beth Broderick starred opposite Rhea as Sabrina's other aunt, Zelda Spellman.

Broderick landed post-Sabrina roles in Timber Falls (2007) and episodes of Lost, Cold Case, and Castle. She also played Rose Twitchell on Under the Dome; reunited with Hart in a 2014 episode of Melissa & Joey and with Rhea on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina; and made appearances on Walker, Shrill, Criminal Minds, and Love & Death.

Nate Richert (Harvey Dwight Kinkle)

Sabrina the Teenage Witch found its Harvey Dwight Kinkle in Nate Richert. The young actor made his onscreen debut as Sabrina's love interest, playing the character for seven years.

In addition to working as a musician, Richert has earned additional credits for Lovely & Amazing (2001), Survival Island (2002), and episodes of The Tony Danza Show, Fantasy Island, Touched by an Angel, and Home Work.

Jenna Leigh Green (Libby Chessler)

Jenna Leigh Green signed on to play Sabrina the Teenage Witch's Libby Chessler, the school's resident bully. During her three-year run on the show, Green also lent her voice to episodes of Extreme Ghostbusters.

She has gone on to pick up credits for Dharma & Greg, ER, Cold Case, You Again (2010), Quantico, Bones, The Loudest Voice, Gossip Girl, Magnum P.I., and Blue Bloods, and hit Broadway as Nessarose in Wicked in 2006.

Martin Mull (Willard Kraft)

Martin Mull led Westbridge High as Sabrina the Teenage Witch's Willard Kraft, a role he took on after previously appearing on Fernwood Tonight and Roseanne, in addition to the 1985 cult classic Clue.

The star, who also moonlights as a painter and musician, has earned post-Sabrina credits for The Ellen Show, The War at Home, Danny Phantom, 'Til Death, American Dad!, Two and a Half Men, Arrested Development, Dads, Community, Veep—for which he earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series—Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Grace and Frankie, and Not Dead Yet.

Soleil Moon Frye (Roxie King)

Soleil Moon Frye joined Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Sabrina's college roommate, Roxie King.

The former child star, who rose to fame on Punky Brewster, followed up her gig on Sabrina with voice work on The Proud Family, Bratz, Planet Sheen, and Robot Chicken. She returned to play Punky Brewster again on the 2021 revival of the same name, and reunited with the Proud Family cast to reprise her role as Zoey on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.

Elisa Donovan (Morgan Cavanaugh)

A few years after she hit the big screen in Clueless (1995) as Amber, Elisa Donovan played Sabrina's roommate Morgan Cavanaugh on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

The actress has gone on to appear in episodes of Judging Amy, NCIS, The Lake, and In Gayle We Trust. She also guest-starred in a 2014 episode of Melissa & Joey, and reprised her Clueless role alongside Alicia Silverstone for a 2023 Super Bowl commercial.

Lindsay Sloane (Valerie Birkhead)

After popping up on The Wonder Years and Mr. Rhodes, Lindsay Sloane joined Sabrina the Teenage Witch in its second season, playing Sabrina's friend Valerie Birkhead.

She added to her résumé soon after, playing Big Red in Bring It On (2000) and appearing in episodes of That '70s Show, The West Wing, Grosse Pointe, and The Stones. Sloane also landed film roles in Over Her Dead Body (2008), The Accidental Husband (2008), She's Out of My League (2010), The Other Guys (2010), Horrible Bosses (2011) and its 2014 sequel, and Endings, Beginnings (2019), and TV gigs on Playing House, The Odd Couple, and I'm Sorry.

David Lascher (Josh Blackhart)

David Lascher is best known for his role as Josh Blackhart, the manager of Bean There, Brewed That in seasons 4–6. Prior to his Sabrina role, Lascher was on Blossom and Hey Dude.

He reunited with Hart (and his Blossom costar Joey Lawrence) in a recurring role on Melissa & Joey.

Alimi Ballard (Quizmaster Albert)

Alimi Ballard appeared in 26 episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as Quizmaster Albert.

Post-Sabrina, Ballard has become known for his work as FBI agent David Sinclair on Numb3rs. He's also made appearances on TV series, including The Catch, Criminal Minds, Lucifer, Queen Sugar, Queen of the South, The Rookie, and One of Us Is Lying.
