Thomas Gibson was suspended and ultimately fired from Criminal Minds after kicking a writer in the shin when an argument over the show's creative direction escalated. This wasn't the first time Gibson had an onset incident. Deadline and TMZ report that he shoved an assistant director in 2010 and had to attend anger management classes.

In the fall of 2006, Isaiah Washington referred to T.R. Knight with a homophobic slur. Afterward, he issued an apology; however, it became a problem again at the 2007 Golden Globes when Washington said, "No, I did not call T.R. a f-----" in front of reporters. That June, Washington was fired from the ABC medical drama.

When the camera was rolling, the chemistry between Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd, who played David and Maddie Hayes on the '80s drama, sizzled. However, the same can't be said for when the cameras stopped rolling. "It's hard to do a show and keep your relationships with everybody," Shepherd told EW in 2005. "I remember at one point in the show, it had gotten to where we just hated each other."

Roseanne Barr and Roseanne creator Matt Williams butted heads over creative control of the series because both of them believed they deserved to have the final say. As she explains in a New York Magazine piece from 2011, Barr also took issue with the fact that Williams was credited as the show's only creator. Eventually, Williams ended up leaving the show.

Teri Hatcher didn't always get along with her Desperate Housewives costars. During a 2005 Vanity Fair cover shoot, Marcia Cross reportedly walked off set after seeing Hatcher standing next to her. Creator Marc Cherry once testified that Nicolette Sheridan referred to Hatcher as "the meanest woman in the world."

Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth were known to clash both on-camera and off-camera during their 90210 days. "I think when you're 18, your personalities conflict, and then you meet up 10 or 15 years later and the playing ground is different and you're fine," Doherty told EW in a joint interview with Garth in 2008. There were claims that they once got in a fistfight, but both Doherty and Garth deny punching each other. "Scratching? I'm not going to deny that," said Garth.

There was ample tension between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj throughout the filming of season 12 of American Idol. TMZ released a video Minaj walking out as she yelled at Carey, and the two definitely seemed to get on each other's nerves in the season 12 premiere. At the TCAs in 2013, Carey claimed their feud was one-sided, which Minaj denied.

There is definitely some bad blood between Will Smith and Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv for three seasons before being replaced by Daphne Reid in season 4. "There will never be a reunion as I will never do anything with an a--hole like Will Smith," Hubert said in 2011. "This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn't know the word." Earlier this year, she refuted claims made in the past that she was difficult on set and they didn't get along and posted a video in which she criticized Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's plans to boycott the Oscars.

At the end of season 3, Chevy Chase walked off set and refused to film the tag for an episode. Harmon publicly scolded Chase at the season's wrap party, reported Deadline, and Chase left Harmon a vicious voicemail addressing his behavior at the party and his work as a producer, which Harmon played during a public show. Harmon later apologized for sharing the voicemail in a blog post, calling his behavior "horrible" "childish," and "inconsiderate."

As The Good Wife went on, Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi stopped appearing in scenes together, and this trend climaxed in Panjabi's final episode. Their characters were supposed to share a scene set in a bar; however, the actresses filmed the scene separately. Margulies said they didn't film the scene together because Panjabi was also filming The Fall, but Panjabi responded on Twitter, "I was in New York ready to film the scene!" In the past, Margulies has downplayed rumors of a feud as "totally gossip."

In 2013, Selma Blair was let go from Charlie Sheen's FX sitcom Anger Management. According to Deadline, Sheen had her fired because she voiced concerns about his behavior at work and sent her an expletive filled text to inform her of the decision. Sheen addressed the issue a few months later during a stop on The Tonight Show: "One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the Two and a Half [Men] character and thinking the Anger Management character was a little dull,” Sheen explained.
