Watch the MusiCares Person of the Year red carpet live stream

It's Grammy week — and that means plenty of events and galas leading up to the big night.

On Friday, EW and PeopleTV will come to you live from the red carpet at the annual MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony. This year's honoree is Dolly Parton, who will receive the award following a tribute concert hosted by Little Big Town. The show will feature performances from Katy Perry, Pink, Leon Bridges, Don Henley, and many others, including Parton herself, who will take the stage to close the festivities.

PeopleTV host Rocsi Diaz and PEOPLE staff editor Melody Chiu will host a live stream of the pre-show red carpet starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Parton is the first country artist to receive the Person of the Year award, given every year ahead of the Grammys. The award recognizes a musician's artistic achievements and charitable efforts; past recipients include Aretha Franklin, Elton John, and Fleetwood Mac. Proceeds from the event go to MusiCares, a charity created by the Recording Academy — which also presents the Grammys — to help provide for members of the music industry in times of need.

Be sure to catch the live stream here on EW.com, and don't forget to tune in to the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
