Jennifer Hudson and Common had the cutest little date night on The Jennifer Hudson Show

Jennifer Hudson and Common have taken their court-side canoodling to the broadcast and streaming airwaves.

Currently in the running for most-awarded couple, EGOT Hudson and EGO (cue Beyoncé) Common more or less made their long-rumored and occasionally photographed romance public when Hudson invited the rapper, actor, and activist onto her eponymous daytime talk show.

First of all, Common comes out with a giant bouquet of flowers...as one does when visiting a daytime talk show host that one is not dating. Eventually, we get to the question of the hour when JHud asks Common if he's in a relationship. And that's when we enter into official rom-com mode with these two crazy kids.

"I'm in a relationship that is with one of the most beautiful people I've met in life," Common says. "She's smart, she loves God, she has something real down-to-earth about her. She's talented." Oh, and Common also adds that she's got an EGOT, won an Oscar for her first movie (cue Beyoncé), and has her own talk show.

Common then turns the tables (classic rom com!) and asks Hudson if she's seeing anyone.

"I'm dating this brother, and I am very happy," she says. At this point neither has confirmed nor denied that they are, in fact, dating, and it's about time to call Nancy Meyers 'cause something's gotta give.

But by the time Common says that his relationship is "a happy place for me" the audience is about ready to throw those two down the aisle. "She's the one!" screamed out one such lovestruck audience member, to which Common responded, "Speak on it."

Later in the show, Hudson and Common talk about going to the Chicago Bulls game together, the giant screen behind them displaying a picture of them court-side looking very much like a couple. And this basically being a daytime TV date night, Common surprises his partner...in this interview with a pair of Nikes so he can coach her like he's Omar Epps and she's Sanaa Lathan (...cue Beyoncé).
