Jennifer Tilly says doing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is 'scarier than Chucky'

And Tilly'd "Bound" costar Gina Gershon reveals she was once asked to join the cast, too.

In a another television universe, we could have Bound stars Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But we'll just have to (happily) settle for Tilly.

The actresses were on the It Happened in Hollywood podcast to discuss their seminal sapphic thriller from 1996, directed by the Wachowskis. After the pair had reminisced and shared some anecdotes from the film, host Seth Abramovitch turned to their current projects, which for Tilly, includes joining RHOBH as a Friend to Housewife Sutton Stracke.

"Oh my god. It's insane," Tilly says of the gig. "It's, like, scarier than Chucky. I'll tell you that."

Tilly, of course, starred in the 1998 camp horror classic as the titular Bride of Chucky.

However, Gershon reassures Tilly that ,"You'll be great on that," before revealing her own tenuous connection to the Housewives.

"They approached me. I was too scared, but you know what? You're gonna be genius on that," Gershon admits. "You'll take over that whole set, Jen. I have no doubt. I'd actually even watch it with you on it."

"Holy cow. Genie, you would be great," Tilly responds. "I'm not a housewife. I'm a friend, though, which is a lot easier. You just dip in and out. You try to avoid, like, flying shrapnel and you know? If drinks are thrown, I have good reflexes."

While Tilly will of course be genius on RHOBH, one can't help but wonder what could've been if Gershon had said yes. After all, she's more than used to dealing with backstabbing bitches on camera.
