Addison Timlin to play young Hillary Clinton in When I'm a Moth

Addison Timlin will portray a young Hillary Rodham Clinton in an upcoming indie film exploring the future first lady and secretary of state’s time spent working odd jobs in Alaska between college and law school.

EW has confirmed that the Californication and That Awkward Moment actress has already completed production on the movie, which is titled When I’m a Moth.

Magdalena Zyzak and Zachary Cotler wrote and directed the film centering on a relatively unknown but occasionally invoked chapter in Clinton’s life: In 1969, she made her away across the Last Frontier by performing such character-building jobs as washing dishes and sliming fish.

According to the Wrap, which first reported the news, Cotler stressed that the film is “not a biopic.” Rather, “It’s about how politics makes you not real.”

Cotler and Zyzak’s film Critically Endangered Species is currently in competition at the South by Southwest film festival, as is Timlin’s Like Me.
