The Shape of Water clip teases Guillermo del Toro film's creature

Guillermo del Toro's new film, The Shape of Water has been getting great reviews following its premiere at the Venice Film Festival — and now us non-Venice visitors can get a taste of the movie with a clip which just premiered on The Playlist.

This Cold War-era tale from the director of Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth stars British actress Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine, Paddington) as a lonely woman named Elisa who works at a high-security government laboratory. Elisa's life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer from The Help and Hidden Figures) discover a secret classified experiment. Del Toro's film costars Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, and the director's longtime collaborator, Doug Jones.
