Jackie Chan fights a bionic super-soldier in Bleeding Steel trailer

Jackie Chan is at it again. Following The Foreigner, which might as well have been his very own Taken, the international action movie star is back in the new trailer for Bleeding Steel. This time, he’s fighting a bionic super-soldier, played by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s Callan Mulvey.

Chan stars as Lin, a Hong Kong police inspector who faces off against the world’s first “super bio-warrior,” Andre, who’s looking like the love child of Darth Vader and a Star Trek Borg. Andre is pretty sore about getting transformed into a techno monster, so he’s ready to unleash his pain on the world. And to do that, he needs to track down a young girl.

Lin learns that a geneticist’s bio-chemical invention has been surgically implanted into his missing daughter to serve as her mechanical heart. With this device, it seems Andre could make an army of other bio-warriors. So Lin must channel his inner Spider-Man by scaling buildings, fighting bad guys, and protecting the girl to save the world.

Directed by Leo Zhang, the R-rated Bleeding Steel also features Show Lo, Nana Ou-yang, Erica Xia-hou, and Tess Haubrich.
