The starry cast of the thriller Bullet Train could be getting blindingly brighter.

Lady Gaga, the queen of Chromatica who won an Oscar for her musical work on A Star Is Born, is in talks to join the film from John Wick and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, EW has learned.

According to a source, a deal has not been signed and it's unclear if one will. But the performer is currently eyeing a role alongside actors Brad Pitt, Michael Shannon, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, and Masi Oka.

A rep for Gaga did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment. Sony did not comment.

The film, based on Kotaro Isaka's book Maria Beetle for Sony Pictures, follows a group of five assassins who board a bullet train in Tokyo and realize their missions have something in common. It's unclear at this point whether Gaga would be playing one of the said assassins—though she would (say it with us) slay!

After earning an Oscar nomination for her performance in 2018's A Star Is Born and winning a Golden Globe for her American Horror Story role in Hotel-dubbed fifth season, Gaga is attached to star as Patrizia Reggiani in director Ridley Scott's film about the murder of Guccio Gucci's grandson Maurizio.

The multi Grammy-winning pop diva, who dropped her Chromatica album in May, moved her planned summer 2020 concert tour to summer 2021 in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Collider was the first to report the news.
