The National Board of Review kept the awards season excitement flowing on Thursday during its annual gala. The event brought together legends like Martin Scorsese and stars like Paul Giamatti, Bradley Cooper, and Lily Gladstone, as well as breakthrough performers like Teyana Taylor and first-time director Celine Song. (And don't forget that surprise appearance from Daniel Day-Lewis.)
The night's big winner — awards were technically announced in advance of the event — included Killers of the Flower Moon, which was named Best Film and also grabbed Best Director for Scorsese and Best Actress for Gladstone. Meanwhile, The Holdovers grabbed three awards, and Poor Things nabbed two.
