Nikki Glaser jokes that seeing Taylor Swift live is like doing cocaine: 'Luckily I can afford both’

"To me, it's like The Beatles," Glaser said of seeing Swift live 17 times and counting.

Nikki Glaser may be the biggest Swiftie there is.

The comedian has seen Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour 17 times (and counting!), which amounts to about 60 hours of watching Swift live. "It gives me a surge of dopamine that I can’t describe," she told guest host Kumail Nanjiani on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "So it’s kinda for me either that or cocaine, and luckily I can afford both.”

Glaser explained how she uses every break in her own touring schedule as a stand-up comedian to fly to wherever Swift is performing to see the show. She also explained that she never uses the bathroom during the nearly four-hour show. "I wear a diaper," she quipped, though it was unclear if she was joking or not.

For Glaser, seeing Swift live is akin to seeing The Beatles live in the 1960s. "I just feel like this is a time where I have to see someone who is one of the best performers to ever live," she explained. "To me, it’s like The Beatles, and I think I’m gonna be a person someday that everyone’s gonna go like, 'You saw The Beatles live?' It’s the thing that makes me happiest in the world."

She's aware that The Beatles comparisons might raise some eyebrows. Her comments previously irked her father, who is a huge fan of the Fab Four. But Glaser also shared a video of her dad at one of Swift's concerts, tearing up with emotion in response to Swift's performance.

Glaser also knows she's privileged to see the show as many times as she has. She's received plenty of snarky comments on social media about it. "Must be nice!" is a comment she said she gets regularly, to which she stated, "Yeah, it is."

Despite her super fandom, Glaser has never met Swift — so, maybe it's time for her to change the prophecy and get on that.
