Pete Davidson says a stalker watched Grey’s Anatomy with his mom before leaving their home in handcuffs

The police were called, but only after three hours of Meredith Grey.

Pete Davidson is back with juicy stories in his second Netflix stand-up special, Turbo Fonzarelli. But maybe not the ones you're expecting.

For the most part, Davidson avoids divulging details of his personal life especially where dating is involved. That said, the comedian has plenty to say about two very special women in his life: his mom… and his stalker.

“It’s been a very sad year,” Davidson tells the crowd mid-way through the show. “I lost my stalker.”

He goes on to explain how the relationship came about. The classic meet cute began with Davidson noticing a woman outside of his home, wearing a shirt with his “warped” face on it. Naturally, he asked her to leave. Worried about his address being known, he later warned his mother to be on the lookout.

"I told her, I was like, ‘Someone knows where we live, someone could come over and hurt you.’ And she goes, ‘No. No, they’re looking for you. They’re not gonna hurt me,’” he recalled, “And I was like ‘That’s fair, but could you humor me? This is scary. I have a stalker and you just gotta be aware, in case she comes by.’”

Eventually, Davidson leaves town and the stalker returns. According to him, the events unfolded as follows: “She rings the doorbell. My mom answers and goes, ‘Hey, who are you?’ Stalker goes, ‘I’m Pete’s friend.’ My mom, of course, goes, ‘Well, come on in.’”

With the crowd already laughing, Davidson delivered the craziest detail yet: “Stalker proceeds to watch Grey’s Anatomy with my mom and [her friend] Terry for three hours.”

Three hours in, Davidson's mom phoned him to check whether he was coming home. Davidson, who quickly put the details together, joked that he told his mom, “You’re under attack! Run for your f---ing life!” In reality, he advised her to act normal, head into the garage, and call the cops.

Luckily, everything went relatively smoothly from there. The woman was arrested, but not before delivering an unexpected present meant for Davidson: “20 pairs of soiled underwear,” the comedian explains.

Later in the special, Davidson offered a disclaimer correcting some of the facts he exaggerated for "hilarity" — one of which is that he only received two pairs of underwear. He also cops to making up another scene of him searching Instagram for his stalker, only to discover that she had become a Jack Harlow fan. “I was like if you become a Matt Rife fan, I’ll f---ing kill myself, I swear to God,” he joked.

Davidson’s stalker, previously identified as Bronx-woman Michelle Mootreddy, was arrested in 2021 after allegedly entering Davidson's Staten Island residence through a backdoor without permission. She was charged with stalking, harassment, criminal trespass, and trespass. This came days after sending a press release through an official media source that claimed she and Davidson had secretly married and also co-launched a production company named Bodega Cats Presents.

As Davidson addresses in the special, she was deemed unfit to stand trial and placed in the custody of a psychiatric facility.

You can watch Davidson divulge similarly chaotic stories (also involving his mom!) in his new special Turbo Fonzarelli, now streaming on Netflix.
