Pink stops show in Australia as woman in audience goes into labor: 'You're gonna do great!'

Oh, baby.

It appears Pink's music has the power to induce labor.

During the first night of the Australian leg of her "Summer Carnival" tour in Sydney on Friday, the singer-songwriter paused her set after a woman in the audience went into labor. It admittedly took a while for Pink to figure out what was going on as crew members tried to update her from off the stage.

"Oh my god, why did that take me so long? See, you don't want me as a trivia partner," Pink said from the stage, as captured in a video shared by an attendee on TikTok. "Is it Alicia or Alex being born? I feel like we shouldn't be looking. Everyone give her her privacy!"

The baby had yet to be born at that given moment, but Pink, who congratulated the expectant mother, had a nice laugh about her songs inducing labor. "That's exciting," she said. "I don't even know what to say. We have to sing."

Addressing the woman, Pink added, "Good luck! You're gonna be great. You're gonna do great."

Funnily enough, this is not the first time a concert attendee has gone into labor during Pink's current tour, which kicked off last June in England and will conclude November in Florida.

Pink fan Angela Mercer, who attended the show's Boston stop last August, started having contractions shortly after arriving at the venue, and, alongside her family, quickly made the trek to Brigham and Women's Hospital, which recounted the entire ordeal on Facebook.

"Pink’s newest, and youngest, fan was named Aycen Hart," the hospital shared. "Baby Aycen was born right on his grandma Barbara’s birthday, and while the family didn’t get to enjoy the concert, they say they received the greatest gift of all: a healthy baby boy."
