The Umbrella Academy star Tom Hopper has signed up for a rather different kind of adventure.

Prime Video announced on Friday that Hopper has joined the cast of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a prequel series which takes place five years before the events of 2022's military-thriller show The Terminal List. Hopper will play a Navy SEAL named Raife Hastings alongside costars Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch, both of whom appeared on the original show. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf focuses on Kitsch's Ben Edwards and tracks his journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator while Pratt reprises the role of Edwards' fellow SEAL James Reece. Hopper's other acting credits include Black Sails and Game of Thrones.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is co-created by The Terminal List showrunner David DiGilio and Jack Carr, author of the books upon which the franchise is based. Last year, Prime Video also confirmed that the The Terminal List will continue with a second season, which adapts Carr's book True Believer.

"Jack Carr is probably the most disciplined writer I know, incredibly prolific," DiGilio told EW in 2022. "So we are very lucky to have multiple seasons ahead of us."
