Men in Black trailer sets Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson on an International mission

The first three Men in Black movies were set in New York, but the new trailer for Men in Black: International, the next chapter in this on-going franchise, takes the alien mission global.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson stage a Revengers reunion after Thor: Ragnarok as Agents H and M, respectively. The film, directed by The Fate of the Furious‘ F. Gary Gray, chronicles the introduction of Molly into the MIB world by way of Emma Thompson‘s Agent O and her trip to the London headquarters, where it seems the agency has been compromised from within.

Molly, now serving as Agent M, is paired with veteran agent H, another comedic role for Hemsworth, “which leads them on a globe-trotting adventure to discover the true nature of the threat,” as producer Walter Parkes told EW.

The new trailer reveals the new big bad in the form of The Hive, a collective that can take on the shape of anyone — even the MIB agents, says Liam Neeson as the head of MIB London. Then there’s Pawny, a CG character voiced by Kumail Nanjiani. He’s like the third part of this trio and, like all followers of Valkyrie, worshipping Thompson as a queen.

Other characters, alien and otherwise, come from Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall, and twins Laurent Bourgeois and Larry Bourgeois.

Men In Black: International opens June 14.
