2016 has already been a big year for '80s nostalgia, but leave it to Michael Fassbender to squeeze in one last hilarious dose of like, totally gnarly '80s culture.

The Assassin's Creed actor stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday to show off a surprising hidden talent: he can hum the theme songs of '80s TV shows pretty darn well.

Though Fassbender grew up in Ireland, he spent much of his younger years watching American TV, giving him quite a few songs for his repertoire. Since Meyers is also a child of the '80s, the two engaged in a guessing game, where Fassbender would hum a tune and leave Meyers to name the show.

Even though Fassbender's part-hum, part-mouth synthesizer bit was spot-on, he made things difficult for Meyers by choosing relatively obscure shows, like Trapper John, M.D. and Scarecrow and Mrs. King, leaving the host to exclaim, "This is so much harder than I thought it would be!"

Eventually, Fassbender and Meyers were able to duet (if you could call it that) on the iconic A-Team theme song, though Meyers jokingly identified it as the theme from St. Elsewhere.
