It's been over a year since Adult Swim announced it was saving Samurai Jack from the TV wastelands, but there's been no news about when the animated series would be back — until now.

Kicking off a 10-episode season, the show will premiere on Saturday, March 11, an Adult Swim spokesperson confirmed to EW Monday.

Samurai Jack originally ran for four seasons on Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2004, and chronicled the tale of a time-displaced samurai prince's battle against demonic, shape-shifting warlord Aku. Unfortunately, the series ended without providing fans with closure — and with Jack still stuck in the future. The new episodes will focus on the character's final journey, serving as an official conclusion to the series.

Creator Genndy Tartakovsky is once again working on the series, along with Jack's original voice actor, Phil LaMarr.

Samurai Jack returns March 11 on Adult Swim.
