Changes are coming to the second season of Chelsea Handler's talk show.

The next edition of Netflix's Chelsea is ditching its three-day-per-week format from its debut season. Instead of airing half-hour shows on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the second season will air a single hour-long episode on Friday only. So the show will still air across the same number of weeks but will consist of 30-hour-long episodes instead of 90 half-hour ones as first announced. Netflix's internal research discovered that most fans caught up on the show on Friday nights.

By doing fewer shows but having an hour-long edition, the idea is that Handler will be able to do "dig deeper into the subjects that matter to Chelsea most." According to Netflix, the new season will have "more in-depth interviews, more robust field pieces, more dinner parties" with Handler traveling to India, Europe, Washington, DC, Montana, and other places.

Chelsea is available on Netflix.
