Steven Universe tries to escape his mother in exclusive clip

Steven Universe has had a lot on his mind in recent episodes — especially as the young hero tries to shoulder the burden of his mother’s legacy.

And as you can see in the exclusive clip above, the memory of Rose Quartz is not making things any easier on him as he tries to achieve some peace of mind… or at the very least, have his dinner. Lucky for him, he’s soon going to be getting the chance to unearth some answers when he finally accesses and explores his own room in the temple he calls home.

This latest episode — titled “Storm in the Room” — follows a recent arc that saw Steven and the rest of the Crystal Gems go into space and rescue his father Greg after Blue Diamond had kidnapped him to be used as the latest addition to Pink Diamond’s human zoo.
