Vampire Diaries: See new photos of Stefan and Caroline's wedding

Who’s ready for a June wedding? (Or at least a wedding.)

This week marks the penultimate episode of The Vampire Diaries, and from the promo, we know that Damon’s plan is to use Stefan and Caroline’s wedding to draw Katherine out — yes, Katherine! Now that Cade is dead, Katherine “the baddest bitch of all” Pierce is in charge of hell, and considering her obsession with the youngest Salvatore, what better way to get her to show herself than marrying Stefan off to another woman?

Sure, it might not be the most romantic reason to have a wedding, but let’s also be clear: This wedding was happening before Katherine came along. They’re simply moving up the timeline of things. And that means fans will get to watch Caroline walk down the aisle in a beautiful ceremony that’s apparently performed by Damon.

The CW released a few additional photos to give fans a better idea of what to expect.
