Lethal Weapon star recalls being 'too young' when he saw original film

Everyone has that R-rated movie they saw before they were probably ready. For Lethal Weapon actor Johnathan Fernandez, he just now happens to star in an adaptation of his.

During an appearance on Entertainment Weekly: The Show, a panel of guests was discussing seeing R-rated movies as a kid, when Fernandez, who portrays medical examiner Scorsese, was asked when he first watched the Mel Gibson and Danny Glover action film.

“Too young, my parents didn’t care,” he said, acknowledging that he was well under 17. “My parents only drew the line with Pulp Fiction and Don’t Be a Menace.”

See what comedian Chris Gethard and EW’s own Leah Greenblatt watched when they were too young in the clip above, and catch this full episode of Entertainment Weekly: The Show, available now on the new People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN).
