Ryan Seacrest shares American Idol throwback pic with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson

While it remains to be seen whether an American Idol reboot will happen anytime soon, Ryan Seacrest is reliving memories of the reality series via an old school picture featuring some Idol originals.

On Thursday, the former Idol host got in the throwback spirit, sharing an image of himself with Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell. Along with the photo, he wrote on social media, “They’re gonna kill me for posting this.”

The trio worked together for the first nine seasons of the Fox singing competition before Cowell departed, with Jackson eventually following. The other two Idol originals were Paula Abdul and Brian Dunkleman.

Cowell hasn’t given up his judging duties; he’s still on Britain’s Got Talent, which is heading into its 11th season. Abdul was most recently a judge on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance.
