A different kind of truth is out there, and Adam Scott and Craig Robinson will be searching for it next season.

Fox has ordered the paranormal comedy Ghosted starring the Parks and Recreation alum and Office vet, who also appeared together on the big screen in Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

The single-camera series, which also stars Ally Walker and Adeel Akhtar, chronicles the adventures of a jaded skeptic about the supernatural (Robinson) and a gifted “true believer” (Scott) who are tapped by a covert government agency to investigate an outburst of “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles. What they discover is a bigger-than-imagined mystery that threatens the human race. Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment) wrote the pilot and serves as executive producer alongside showrunner Kevin Etten (Workaholics), Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia), Robinson, Scott, and Scott’s wife, Naomi, with whom he created Adult Swim’s The Greatest Event in Television History.

Fox also picked up the Will Ferrell-produced airline comedy L.A. to Vegas. The single-camera comedy — which stars Dylan McDermott, Ed Weeks, Peter Stormare. Kim Matula, and Olivia Macklin — focuses on an airline crew and the passengers who make the roundtrip flight from Burbank to Las Vegas every weekend. Lon Zimmet (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), who wrote the pilot, is an executive producer with Modern Family creator Steven Levitan, who is directing the pilot. Executive producers also include Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy, and Owen Burke.
