Tom Cruise dramatically reads kids' scripts inspired by The Mummy

Jimmy Fallon's Kid Theater on The Tonight Show is an interesting exercise to see how kids think. When simply given the title Gold, some wrote stories about Matthew McConaughey as a customer at a "gold store." When given Magic Mike XXL, they write about magic bike pumps and aliens. Now, with The Mummy, it all kicks off with an odd encounter between the titular monster and a skeleton.

Tom Cruise joined Fallon in this latest installment of Kid Theater, in which they dramatically read scripts that were written by children and inspired by the title of his latest blockbuster. The first script chronicled the events leading up to a head bump (apparently, it's like a fist bump but with your head) between a mummy and skeleton. Another featured a mummy with a craving for hot dogs drizzled with dust, but the most difficult was the final story.

Cruise played a hiccuping mummy who spills and slips in water in front of a hiccuping sheep, which is harder than you think. The actor and Fallon coughed and laughed their way through the fast-paced hiccuping cues.
