Michael C. Hall is coming back to a TV near you.

Four years after the conclusion of Dexter, Hall is taking on a new starring role in the Netflix drama Safe, produced by himself and author Harlan Coben. Though Coben is a prolific and well-known author of mystery and thriller novels, the series is written by award-winning screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst (Shameless). Amanda Abbington (Sherlock) and Audrey Fluerot are also set to star.

Safe is set in a beautiful gated community where Hall plays a widowed father of two named Tom. Just when it seems like he and his two daughters have begun to move forward following the death of his wife, one of them sneaks off to a party. Lo and behold, a murder and disappearance take place that night, and buried secrets start re-emerging.

Safe started shooting in the U.K. this week and is set to debut on Netflix in 2018.
