War for the Planet of the Apes star Andy Serkis and director Matt Reeves are both lined up for high-profile gigs with Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Batman, respectively. Beyond their involvement, that’s pretty much all they can say, so good luck getting them to talk about the projects.

Along with Steve Zahn and Amiah Miller, Serkis and Reeves joined EW: The Show, where, when pressed for a tease of their next movies, they both did their best to be as vague as possible.

“It was fantastic,” Serkis said of returning for Episode VIII as Supreme Leader Snoke. “It’s gonna be an awesome movie. I literally can’t say anything.”

He wasn’t kidding, considering he wouldn’t even verify if the leader of the First Order gets to stand up this go-around.

Jokingly, Reeves followed suit by saying, “I can’t even tell you that” when it was mentioned he’s taking the reigns of the upcoming Batman film starring Ben Affleck. In lieu of details on that project, Reeves did reveal his most memorable moment from the Caped Crusader’s big screen run.

“My favorite Batman movie moment is the moment where Heath Ledger is driving that police car and he sticks his head out the window and the wind blows in his hair,” he says of the scene from The Dark Knight. “I think it’s incredible.”
