Bingeworthy hosts Jessica Shaw and Touré are happily awaiting all that HBO’s Insecure has to offer.

And though the freshman season of Issa Rae’s hit comedy might have been overlooked by this year’s Emmy nominations (as were many a great series), season 2 is just as bingeworthy, if not more so.

Shaw gave a particular shout-out to the series’ “little nods to social commentary … It’s allowed to sit out there and you either notice it or you don’t. And [Rae’s] such an astute commentator of social culture.” She also declared, “Every woman needs to watch this show. … You feel so connected to [Issa Rae] as a performer.”

Touré echoed her praise, noting, “You think about people trying to be the voice of the generation and she is like, in that sort of territory, of like, ‘I can make the art that expresses, like, this is what my generation is about,’ ’cause she’s that good.”

Season 2 of Insecure premieres on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. ET on HBO.
