Transparent: The Pfeffermans are off to Israel in season 4 trailer

Sometimes being with family can feel like looking in the mirror, and the uncomfortably honest, in-your-face Pfeffermans of Amazon’s Transparent are just like any other family in that regard. And perhaps only in that regard.

In the recently revealed trailer for season 4, several members of the family have sobering moments in the mirror, and music continues to be a central theme: The clip features Yvonne Elliman and Ian Gillan’s “Everything’s Alright,” a song the Pfeffermans are seen enjoying.

Other highlights from the trailer include a prompt from Sarah (Amy Landecker) that causes the Pfefferman siblings to try and count their respective sexual partners, Shelly (Judith Light) saying, “I have no idea what boundaries are,” (duh), and Maura (Jeffrey Tambor) and Ali (Gaby Hoffmann) kissing the ground at the airport… in Israel.

The new season of Transparent arrives on Amazon Sept. 22.
