Penn and Teller blow Jimmy Fallon's mind with inflatable suit trick

The magicians also performed a trick inspired by Fallon's 'Classroom Instruments'

Magicians Penn and Teller (a.k.a. Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller) conjured up a card trick on The Tonight Show Friday to the astonishment of Jimmy Fallon. The first illusion, which the late-night host called “the coolest thing ever,” involved inflatable suits, a jumbo deck of cards, a gun, and a balloon.

The dynamic duo appeared on stage inside giant inflatable versions of themselves. Penn had Fallon choose a card and put it back in the deck to be shuffled, after which the magical maestro plucked a pistol from a stage assistant with the promise of shooting Fallon’s card out of the deck and into a balloon.

But there’s always a twist: Teller emerged from Penn’s inflatable suit, while Penn popped up over at Fallon’s desk holding his card.

For their next act, Penn and Teller went backstage to perform their take on a classic magician’s trick: the ball and vase trick. Inspired by Fallon’s “Classroom Instruments” segment, they channeled their 8-year-old selves in telling a story about Dracula and his zombie vampire clones to accompany the performance.
