Scandal: First look at spectacular final season

The end of Scandal is upon us.

ABC released the new key art for Scandal‘s final season, which depicts Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) alone in Washington, her famed white hat beside her. But will she actually wear it? After all, the former head of OPA-turned-White House chief of staff for new President Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) reconstituted lethal black ops division B613 in the finale, so her hands are definitely not clean.

Either way, ABC chief Channing Dungey told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Sunday that the final season is “nothing short of spectacular.”

Scandal‘s final season debuts Thursday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Check out behind the scenes photos here.
